"In everything you do,

put God first,

and He will direct you

and crown your efforts

with success."

                                        Proverbs 3:6

It all began....

In July of 1990, Most Pure Heart of Mary began its Perpetual Adoration Chapel with over 600 guardians. Since its beginning, the Most Pure Heart of Mary Perpetual Adoration Chapel has had hourly Guardians...waiting, watching, praying, adoring, reading, or simply spending time with Jesus 24 hours a every day of the week of every year.

"The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharistic Adoration.

Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Him in adoration

and in contemplation that is full of faith..."

                                                 Pope John Paul II

Jesus said,

"Let the little children come to me

and do not stop them,

because the kingdom of heaven

belongs to such as these."

                                            Matthew 19:14

What it takes to be a Perpetual Adoration Guardian

How it works....

In order to have a constant vigil of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, it is necessary for each person to commit to a specific hour once a week. In this way, we can organize all of the 168 hours of the week so that someone is with Jesus all the time. All parishioners are invited to be a Chapel Guardian on the day and hour of your choice.

What is the catch?

It simply takes a commitment on your part to reserve one hour each week and spend it with Jesus. The catch is that there really is no catch. St. Alphonsus Ligouri once said, "The smallest actions done in love for Jesus are the very actions that charm His heart."

Why would I want to become a chapel guardian?

The world is much more fast-paced than it was when the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Most Pure Heart of Mary first began. It is much more difficult to make time for another commitment in our lives, and yet it has never been more crucial to set aside time - for prayer, reflection, peace and quiet - personal time with Our Lord. An hour each week in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel is a commitment of a much higher order - it is a commitment to Him, and, in a way, a commitment to put You first.

The Chapel is located....

The chapel is located near the north entrance of the church.

Please stop by during daylight hours for a visit.
