What is YOUTH GROUP?
Youth Group means Faith, Fun, Fellowship and Friends!
Weekly meetings are Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m.for 7th - 8th grade and
7:15 to 8:45 p.m. for 9th - 12th grade during the School Year.
Faith: Scripture and Saint of the week, listen to a new Christian musician each week, prayer and share circle, Lent Supper Club, Bible study and more!
Service: Relay for life, Easter Egg Hunt for parish kids, make rosaries for soldiers in Iraq and oversees, Catholic Heartwork Cam, food to the Rescue Mission, and more!
Meeting Topics: Peer Pressure, Living your faith, Stress, Vocations, School/Finals, Dating, Defending your faith, and more!
Retreats: Homeless Retreat, TEC (Teens Encounter Christ)
Social: Bizarre Winter Olympics, Superbowl Party, YMCA lock-in, World's of Fun trip, Movie Night, Luau Swim Party, and more! |
A NOTE FROM THE YOUTH MINISTER!
My name is Mickey Arnold and I am excited to have the Most Pure Heart of Mary and Christ the King parishes combined Youth Group! Youth Group is a mix of Faith, Fun, Fellowship for grades 7-12. I am excited to hold Youth Group Meetings in the Youth Group Room at Most Pure Heart of Mary. I look forward to working with the youth! They ARE the Church! Any questions?
