Sacristy-north and south
Did you know that at one time there used to be two sacristies????
If you were facing the alter, you would be facing east. Your back would be to the west, your left to the north, and your right to the south.
~The north sacristy~
The north sacristy used to be used for the alter boys room. The north sacristy used to hold all of the alter boys garment that the needed, along with some other extra items. When the church was first built, this room was in use quite often. However, years later they moved all of the alter boys garments to the south sacristy, to where the priest would dress and prepare for mass.
Now, the north sacristy is used as a plant room. It holds all of the plants that are used for Most Pure Heart's many holidays. The north sacristy is connected to the south sacristy through a door that is locked when no one is in either sacristy.
~The south sacristy~
The south sacristy is now used for the priests to change, along with the alter boys that I have already mentioned. This room contains all of the priests' garments, alter boys' garments, the light switch box, a couple cabinets, and a whole bunch of drawers that contain objects.
When the church was first built, it was the priests' changing room only. A door would connect the alter boys' changing room to the south sacristy.
